Ali MacGraw

Ali MacGraw aka Elizabeth Alice MacGraw was an American actor, animal advocate and writer who was awarded numerous Awards. Love Story (1970), Goodbye Columbus '69 and The Getaway '72 are some of her most well-known films. Born and raised in an artistic family located in New York she wished to work in the field of arts. At first she began as an photographer's assistant. In the future she shifted her focus towards modeling and directing. The actress was awarded an award called the Golden Globe Award in 1990 for being a promising young actress. MacGraw's movie Love Story was an international success, earning her the Academy Award nomination and Golden Globe Award. She was named the best female box-office actress in the world after only three films. In 1972, her footprints and autograph were inscribed on the wall at Grauman's Chinese Theater. In addition to The Getaway Convoy Players she played a part in the tv show The Winds of War. Moving Pictures, her 1991 autobiography, was released. MacGraw was married three times.
